Hi there,
I am interested in Amazon Kindle, but before I purchase one, I have a few questions. Forgive me if my questions are silly but I am not sure how this works. Any advice is welcome.
- Do I have to purchase books everytime I wish to read one? And that too via Amazon alone?
- Is there a way to download free books?
- Can I borrow/lend some from/to a different user?
- Can I download and share a book with multiple users with Kindle (my family in this case)?
- Can I resell a “used” copy?
- Can I transfer a copy onto a CD?
Yes, there is so much flexibility you will get when you acquire this amazing device. You just have to be creative with some limitations like DRM where you cannot resell books, you cannot send content to another kindle for sharing, and the only way to let someone borrow your book is to lend them your kindle.

Tea B asked: Which do you think is aesthetically more pleasing? Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader PRS 700? Kindle Guy: I think the Sony one looks a LOT nicer and more elegant than the Amazon Kindle, but the Kindle wins on functionality and features hands-down.
