@farleylai It stands to reason that the DX will get an update for the Webkit browser since it will need to get an update for the advanced PDF features that the Kindle 3 offers–notes, highlights, dictionary. Unfortunately, AT&T’s coverage where I live is horrible so I can’t really test the DX’s browser much–it needs to get WiFi too.

BTW, how about the experience on browsing Google Books?

Great review.
If there were anything lost, I’d say the web browsing experience is highly expected. Since Kindle 3 will be shipped with a New WebKit-Based Browser, a compendious web-surfing review of Kindle DX G should serve as a comparison basis absolutely. Or is there any side-street news that a new Kindle DX G FW upgrade will be available sooner or later?

@Soulrider2012 Correct. It, along with a Kindle calendar and Kindle planner, can be downloaded for free from a website called edukindle.

Good review but the “Notepad” is not a standard Kindle feature is it? It’s an app or technically a book you have to buy and download separately, correct?
