Learn about this best eBook reader ever. With its new high-resolution display technology called electronic paper, Amazon Kindle provides a crisp black-and-white screen that resembles the appearance and readability of printed paper. The screen works using ink, just like books and newspapers, but displays the ink particles electronically. It reflects light like ordinary paper and uses no backlighting, eliminating the glare associated with other electronic displays. If you are out of wireless coverage, such as traveling overseas, you can download books to your computer from Your Media Library and transfer via USB to your Amazon Kindle.

loic seems to be laughing at philippe, robert is laughing at amazon, and philippe is actually talking about the design of the kindle. the first two are fakers, the third is a creator. am i being harsh toward robert and loic? maybe, but critics are a dime a dozen. to a creator like me, robert and loic are just snotty spoiled schoolchildren unhappy with their latest toy. philippe actually has talent and while he's criticizing the designer's work at least his remarks are arguments, not mere smirks.

Ironic: I was just reading on JuliB (a paperless, all digital, online magazine) about Phillipe Starck. I am intrigued, and decided to search for interviews with him on You Tube, and now I'm watching an interview with him about paperless, digital books.
