Ebook is a technology based on PDF, which can be read on Windows,Mac or Palm OS pda. Acrobat reader is simply a PDF file reader. Thousands of Ebook available in PDF can be download or purchased from publisher. Microsoft also has an EBook reader with a different extension (.lit)

Ebooks are mostly in .pdf and as long as you have adobe acrobat it can read any pdf, if its adobe ebbok then it’s a pdf.
